1988 GTA for sale
I have a 1988 GTA I am selling, my question is and I know this will very depending on many reasons, I am trying to get an idea on the asking price, I am thinking on asking $3.500 OBO.
Am I in the right ballpark, or to high or low.
Motor was rebuilt and has 21000 miles and the trans was also with a few 100 miles on it, Body has 94000 and Zero Rust.
Things that were replaced with low miles on them.
Tires
brakes
rotors
radiator
exhaust from the cat back with the exception of the tail pipes
new 8 mil spark plug wires and platinum plugs
New distributor
coil
alternator
Rear wing is from a low mile car and has No cracks.
Roof has some hail damage and has a new hood.
Here are a few pics, advice would be appreciated. Thank you for your time reading this.

Re: 1988 GTA for sale
Hmmm this is a tough one. She does look good but will need body work most definitely with how the roof looks. An it's tough doing hail damage on these roofs also. You've gotten the hard stuff done such as the engine an tranny. Has the rear end been rebuilt also?
Does the ac an radio all work along with any other electrical gremlins that may lurk? $4500 might be a lil bit better for this car because you will have to figure in what the cost of body work would be to repair the cars hail damage.
Edit: being a hardtop car it looks like she may have a small crack appearing their at the upper b-pillar corner on the passenger side which is typical of hard top cars actually.
Either way $4500 is a good price. I do like this car quite a bit I must say. Wish you were in washington I would be looking at this car.

bring it to California and I will give you your asking price and pay for your ticket home! I am assuming this is a 5.7L car?

Radio works as well as the tape player and all of the steering wheel controls, the A/C did work when a purchased it 11 years ago, I have only put a few hundred miles on it.
I have the headliner out as the fabric was starting to sag.
