6,500 views and not a single comment or inquiry for this nice T/A?!
That said, I'll admit I like cruising the ads here too to check out rare and nice 'birds.
Although being stricken with Corvette fever prompted me to put the T/A up for sale, I'm not sure I even want to sell it now, as I took it on long drive last weekend and really enjoyed it ; )

Beautiful car. I've always thought the white t/a with black wheels is a awesome looking car. Very clean look.

Hi falmen,
Yes it is. And that's odd -- I'm able to log in no problem. Murphy's law I guess.
You can use the e-mail address: turbotransam1@yahoo.com to communicate with me.
Please note that I'll be back east for the holidays and won't be back in L.A. until Jan 7th.

@ thtanner
I do state that the original intake is included. But I also see the value in having the visual of it installed (seems the aftermarket ones get no respect ; )
I'm presently out of town, so I'll revisit this when I return to L.A.
That all said, I can't believe I've had nearly 20,000 views here yet no interest beyond tire kickers for this fine example of a third-gen T/A. I'm actually thinking of keeping the car for now, enjoy it for another couple of thousand miles and test the waters at a later time.

Honestly, every single mod done to that car detracts from the value/saleability greatly. You should reinstall the stock intake, stereo and anything else stock you have. Also, with 32k why did the rad, water pump, and alternator need to be replaced and did you at least keep the original alternator and water pump?
It would also help to take some better, high resolution, pictures, including the undercarriage.
I only say this as all those things scared me off as a perspective buyer. It's a beautiful car with a very desirable option set.

@ AmorgetRS,
I do appreciate the feedback and thanks for the compliment on the car : )
But I really don't see how a few easily reversible mods in which I clearly state that the original components (air intake and stereo) are included are deal breakers. It would be a different story if the original intake and stereo were long gone.
As far as the replaced radiator and alternator, they were done before I bought the car. I replaced the water pump due to it having a small leak -- it still worked fine but as you know having a nearly 30-year-old car sit unused for long lengths of time (as it was prior to my purchase) isn't good for gaskets/seals. And no, I didn't bother saving the old water pump; as much as I love this car it's not a 300SL Gullwing that I planned on being judged at Pebble.
Regarding the photos, I've supplied more than most other ads I see here (the max number allowed, actually) and I'm not sure what you mean by the resolution, they don't appear grainy or out of focus. I even provided a clear shot of the driver's side bolster, a known wear point on these cars. That said, you're right about the undercarriage shot, so I should substitute that for one of the other pics.

A few mods leave buyers thinking "what else did they do to the car?".

What thtanner said, plus statements like this:
"All original apart from free-flow air filter (original included), fiberglass rear spoiler and chrome exhaust tips"
When it really isn't all original, as the water pump, rad, alternator, serp belt, tires, probably the battery, etc have been replaced. It's all little things that add up for someone like me who is really looking for an all (or darn close to) original car. It also was drilled for the front license plate, but now the brackets are gone and 4 holes are left in the nose piece.
The car is in a tough position. It's not 100% original or even period correct modifications (such as the SLP air intake or something like that), but it's too nice and low mileage for someone looking for a cheap car. That basically leaves someone who is willing to pay for a low mileage car to drive on sunny days and wants a Thirdgen Trans Am.
As far as the pictures, the resolution I am seeing them at is 691x389. Even phones today take pictures at 3266 x 2450 (8 megapixels). Most of the exterior pictures look to have been taken near dusk and it throws the colors off, plus makes it hard to make out details in the engine bay. The interior pictures are good, as you said, the side bolster wear is important, as is the carpet where the feet go (which looks very nice, I might add), but the pedals are in a shadow so you can't see the wear on them (which is another important indicator). You are right, your ad has more pictures than most of the ads here, however your car isn't like most cars posted for sale here. Compare your ad to this one: https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/fire...-trans-am.html He has an external link to a photobucket acccount with 115 pictures of the car. For someone looking to buy the car from any distance the more detailed pictures, the better.
Please don't take any of this me attempting to pile on or anything, I honestly want to see the car go to a great new home (assuming you don't keep it as the car has a great home already).

No offense taken and appreciate your interest in the car. As far as the "all original" statement, for me it's referring to things I'd want (and believe most would want) to be completely original -- the car's body, paint, wheels, interior and stereo. A no hit, non-repainted example sitting on its correct wheels and boasting upholstery, door panels and a dash that are not ripped, stained, worn out or cracked.
Yes, I can see the appeal of having, say, the original Gatorback tires if one is going to show the car -- it'd be pretty cool to see them. But 25+ year-old tires usually aren't safe to drive on, due to the effects of ozone and temp fluctuations over the years that can make the rubber brittle and cracked. That said, I can see your overall point and that stating something like "mostly original" would be more precise. I do have the front license bracket (required in CA) -- it's just not on the car now.
Regarding the pics, I actually shot them at 2048x1152, so I don't know why on this site they don't expand up to that size when you click on them. When I put the car on eBay, the pics expanded up to full size. Weird. I purposely shot them at dusk, as the white tends to wash out in bright sunlight and to be honest, I thought the car looked sharp.
Anyhoo, I'm on the fence about selling it now, as I've been driving it more often lately which has rekindled the fire for this Firebird ; ) On that note, how does one delete their ad from the site? It seems you can edit the ad, but not delete it.
