Can anyone help me, I spent some time on the phone this week with GM.
Trying to figure out why my Vin # does not come up anywhere in the
computer or anywhere online. Numbers do match under the windshield and front tag. I even found the build sheet 10 years ago. Maybe because pre computer
days. Here is a snapshot of my upper right hand corner of the build sheet.
Vin # 1G2AW87H5DN231826 matches under windshield and tag under hood. If I sell the car I need this figured out.
Thanks,
Al

Re: Vin #
Why does it matter? What problems are you having? If the title vin matches everything else your fine. Carfax and the like will probably have no record of the car because its old.
