1988 Notchback Digital 5.7 Crashed
I wanted to guage interest on very rare 1988 Trans Am Notchback that I own and has only 23.600 original miles on it. The car was mint inside and out, but unfortunately has been in an accident with front and rear damage. Car has all options: leather interior (excellent condition), digital dash, WS6 suspension, 5.7 liter engine, notchback. It also has Ttops. I know that many of you will say that 5.7 cars did not come with Ttops. That is correct, however this car had dealer installed C&C Ttops at the time of the purchase.
Car had 3 Inch Magnaflow exhaust system installed (the original literally rotted away).
No other major changes have been done, and car is all original. Car still has original gatorback tires and honeycomb rims.
The engine starts and car can drive, but I would not drive if further than a flatbed due to extensive damage.
Wanted to get some offers since this is a very rare car and would be a shame to part it out. Can provide Pics upon request.

I would gladly give every penny back to have my car back in the shape it was in prior to the accident.

Thanks everyone. Sold it today to a thirdgen.org member and his friend who promised they will not part it out and will try to restore it.

If anyone is interested in the car, it seems the guy who bought it from me for $2k just put it up on ebay for $12.

Re: 1988 Notchback Digital 5.7 Crashed
I know its his business to do with it whatever he wants to, but he swore up and down , that he is buying it from me to restore it. Thats why I literally gave it up. Wont be that gullible in the future...

Re: 1988 Notchback Digital 5.7 Crashed
I'm probably older than you so might have a little wisdom in buying & selling. If you're selling NEVER price anything according to a story. Sell as if you're finished & whatever happens, happens. I've heard so many "stories" for what the use of items are being bought for but see items posted 4 hours later for double.
I no longer listen to why I need to sell cheaper nor pulling at my heart strings. If you buy for my price, sell it, destroy it or use it. No longer make deals based off a story because I've heard them ALL.
