Hello everyone. I currently have a 1988 firebird formula, it does in fact have the ws6 rpo code in the center console. It has a clean title. I'm going to be 100% honest. Because I don't want anyone to feel I have wasted their time without accurately describing the car.This car is on the border of project car or parts. It is a driver and can be trusted. It's never left me stranded. I will list all the bad things. I'm also extremely critical on stuff so. So it is far from perfect. It runs good,shifts hard if lightly pressing on clutch. When clutch is depressed to the floor everytime shifts smooth. but has a miss at cruising speeds. The rpm gauge moves crazy up and down. But full throttle no hesitation. The wiper motor wiring is gone. I had No idea. I bought this as a fun car. And sunk a lot of money in it. And never intended to sell it. The steering has excessive play. The knuckle is loose, can shake up and down. Purchased it with the speedo and odometer not working so all I can tell you is it has over 130k miles. And the speedo and odo work good now. Last carfax report had 121k in 2011. And I bought it in 2015. Car is located in Lockport il. I'm asking $1000 Obo. Just want it gone. Focusing on saving for my next project car, a 80s Monte Carlo Ss. And there is damage on passenger door, has rust. It's a beater formula. Its worth something. I might part it out as well. Message me here, or text me. It's not that. It's more that there isn't really a lot of traffic around here. The bulk of the users that see your add probably already have at least one thirdgen. Of the ones that are looking, most are probably too far away to be potential buyers. It's also January.

Wait it out. Give your thread more than two days. If you can hold out until spring your chances of success go up exponentially. Take more photos of the car out in the daylight, and wait awhile and it'll sell. Your price is fine, it should sell quickly.

I feel I should probably express, this isn't a clean beautiful car. It has rust in many places. The floors are still solid. The pinch welds underneath are rotted about a couple inches on each side only. So please don't have high standards with this. This isn't a formula to fix or flip or make money on. Unless you do body work. And these in my opinion aren't worth doing bodywork to. It's a driver, was a driver, always will be. This is for a person who doesn't care if they park it at a grocery store and someone opens up a door on it. Or if someone damages it. It's only 1500 bucks. When I was trying to get interior for this car because it was destroyed. And what you see was a vast improvement.People were asking almost 400 dollars for interior alone. Just for front and rear seats. Lol so parts or driver, that's all this is. Lol just so I don't waste anyone else's time. But I have videos from last Saturday of me doing a walk around and even driving it.

Oh I know it will I'm just trying to prepare people to not get their hopes up. Because even when I looked at it originally I was like its a junky formula but it's exactly everything your originally had on your one that rotted out

5hr trip for me. For $1000 there is a guy in Chicago who buys up these 3rd gens named Robert or Bobby....search 3rd gen parts on Craigslist near you, you're bound to find numerous ads. He might lowball you but worth a shot, all you can say is yes or no to his offer. Start higher if he asks for a price. It's worth $1000 all day long down here.

This is good information. I looked and saw only a place in Wisconsin that deals with them.Yea sadly nobody likes it. It's got rust. People are scared of it. I highly regret purchasing it. Thought I could of made it better than what it is. And it was ready for the junkyard when I bought it. It has came a long way since I purchased it. It barely ran and wasn't even close to being reliable. Now I trust it to get me to and from. The guy who sold it to me, literally told me nothing about it. I feel likle I'm being soooo honest.Now looks like the junkyard is the only place that wants it. But we shall see. Once I find the car I'm looking for, this goes.

Yea it would make that trip. And it's 305 tbi. Sadly it's not for sale anymore. I got tired of 300 dollar offers. I would rather drive it and use it like I do. Then to let it go under what a junkyard will give me. So sorry it's not for sale anymore.
