Wanted: 87-90 Formula 305/T5 (or) 350

Seeking original / mostly-original 87-90 Formula with 305 TPI & T5, or Formula 350. Lower miles preferred (80k or less). Rust free. T-Tops preferred. Smog equipment must be present. Will ship the right car. Primary colors of interest are Maui blue, black and white.

The car will be driven so the sub 20k mile garage queens are probably not going to be considered, but something lower miles in good original shape would be nice.

Edit: No longer needed!

She's a black 88 Formula 350 hard-top with ~74k miles.

Won't be on the back of a truck until late next week at the earliest, so I won't see it for at least 2+ weeks. I'll post pictures and more specifics then; I don't want to jinx myself, haha.

Re: Wanted: 87-90 Formula 305/T5 (or) 350

Title is in hand, and car is on the back of a hauler heading West, so I guess I can spill some of the beans.

I had been directed to eBay to view a listing, and this was in the suggested listings feed at the bottom of the page.

Wanted: 87-90 Formula 305/T5 (or) 350-la7zq2g.png

At first glance, no mention of Formula.. 350.. whatnot. Further looking into the ad reveals he put that info in the item specifics, but never made mention of them. The ad text was brief.
Garage kept never use . Restored car . Paint Beautiful Restored years ago own body shop Standox with Standox Clear . Just dont use sits in garage .
I send the guy a PM and it's clear he's been getting some bad offers. Made sure I'm not throwing him a $1000 offer before he'd talk to me further. I ask for undercarriage photos, if it's been winter driven.. all that. Says he'll do it. After 3-4 days I didn't get a response and thought the lead had gone cold. Started putting efforts elsewhere.

Low and behold 5 days later I got undercarriage photos. Nothing unexpected for the area the car is owned. Not as immaculate as my California car, but no red flags or anything.

After some back and forth, he finally agrees to the sale for $5500 (my first offer, my goal wasn't to low ball him.) He genuinely loved the car, so it wasn't easy for him; I understand.

We swap photo IDs, I ship a cashiers check overnight to him, and 3 days later the paperwork, title, etc are in-hand and the car is on the back of a trailer. I ordered the shipment of the car at 12:00 noon. I had been "assigned" a trucking company by 12:30, and the car picked up by 3:00pm. Wow!

Here's some additional photos to hold you (and me) over until it gets here early next week!

First steps when she arrives is a full tune-up (various filters, fluids, plugs, wires, vacuum hoses, all that), decals, and OEM wheels.
