1986 350 IROC what do you think?

This 1986 350 IROC is road tested in the March 10 1986 issue of AutoWeek. If you notice the license plate it doesn't have a dealers plate. It looks like it may have been registered for the street. What do you think?

I think they tested a 1987 IROC L98 350 in 1986..

The emblem on the rear bumper cover says Tuned Port Injection, not 5.7 Tuned Port Injection. Again, this car could be a 305 that was fit with a 350 for test purposes. The VIN will probably show a 305 also.

It's the picture, it has the third brake light. Here is a picture of the engine. I don't think you can tell anything from this pic. I was thinking that because they got it reg. It slipped thru.

I don't think centerbolts showed up until '87 MY. Some might have been around in late '86 production?
