Aftermarket made unit, discontinued decades again. Only heard of couple people that had one & both really liked them. No idea why they were discontionued but if they were made again, I'm sure they'd sell!

Re: dash mount glove box?

Dude you need to get some more info on that. Dimensions, mounts, and what not. If someone could remake those they would probably sell very well. Its functional and doesn't kill the overall look of the interior. Integrate a cup holder and I think we have a winner.

They were available from Classic Industries, IIRC, years ago.

Re: dash mount glove box?

It would be nice to have the storage space but it doesn't fit well. Just a big flat panel.

Re: dash mount glove box?

The lid looks like it was from an s-10 or s-15. I wonder if we contacted classic industries or any other competitive part distributor with a decent size group purchase we can get some located or produced.

Get a hold of Jeff Leonard he owns classic industries. In the 80's I had a low mile 1968 RS/SS L34 396 convertible. He used my original windshield moldings and reproduced them. If anyone could reproduce it he can.
