Mecum Chicago Results

First off a nice TTA sold for $17,000

This 84 Custom with blower went unsold for $11,000

A Blue 88 Camaro (picture not shown) with a 5L auto sold for $6000

Next up was a very nice 88 Camaro Convertible 5L auto sold for $12,000

What I found interesting is both the TTA and convertible sold for more money than all the 80's and 90's Corvettes for sale except one (a 94 Convert). The TTA higher than it.

Re: Mecum Chicago Results

When I bought my 89 Convertible, I was really considering a Pontiac Solstice, but then I sat in it, and realized that if I wanted to go anywhere, I only had room for 2 people... At least I could squeeze my kids in the back seat to go for a cruise in an F-body...

My son so want's an 80's Corvette like Face on the A-team... We stopped and looked at a White 93 Corvette, and the interior was so shoddy I could not believe it...

What's even more interesting is that the same car is in your Mecham Harrisburg thread from this summer:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...8-gta-2-a.html

Oddly enough, the front stripe appears to be in place in that thread. I can tell you from experience that it is NOT possible to purchase the stripes from an '87 Sport Coupe. Phoenix (you know, "Any Decal, Any Car, Any Year") had no interest in this stripe,at least a few years back anyway:

Not all that interesting. C4 Corvettes are basically worthless. You can get a mint sub 20k miler for about 8 grand on eBay.
