82-84 z28 fog lights?

82-84 z28 fog lights?
Got ahold of a set of fog lights for what the guy claimed was for an 84 z28. I don't recall ever seeing an early car with fog lights. Were they a factory option, or some kind of add on after the fact?

Unlike 85+, the lenses are flat and the tilt is built into the bracket

Thanks for the reply. They came as a part of a parts lot so no big deal they're for a van. Just wanted to try and see if the claim could be verified through something I didn't know

They used these flat glass fog lights on astro vans and early 90's Buick Regal GS cars.They mount up perfectly on the third gen brackets.

Astro van fog lights are a nice find too. I'm positive there are some folks out there looking for a pair.

Ive seen lights like those in Sport coupes. Don't know if they had them that early though
