Re: Possible original car title?

Certificate of Origin - it's the document the state uses to issue a title. It's like a birth certificate.

I would say that is a great piece to keep with the car, value is unknown, but it adds to the story.

Where did you find it?

Re: Possible original car title?

Found it in the hatch compartment, along with an invoice of the original owner and purchase price. Shows the guy traded in a 82 t-bird

I would keep it for sure. That is the one and only piece of paper that allows a vehicle to be registered for the very first time. Usually motor vehicle branches end up keeping those....nice find!

I know that dealer! I used to live about 20 miles from Griffin, GA. Where do you live or where did you buy the car?

Small World indeed. I do not know any of the staff at Cronic but lived in Fayetteville during the 90's. I bought my 91 TA from Hennesey while living up in the Atlanta area. Now the car is in Florida with me enjoying the convertible weather here 26 years later!
