a- pillar woes

I was trying to push a loose corner of my a pillar back into line and realized there was something behind it about the time the rest of the a pillar starting making a popping sound and then the whole thing was loose except maybe 2 clips. Is there any way to get this thing back on or do I have to pull it out and replace all of the clips. from the pictures i've seen it looks like the clips are still intact but i can't get them into the a pillar. car is a 91 camaro

You may have broken the housing(s) for the clips. Check the following link, page 3, for pics. If so, you'll have to remove and repair.

Re: a- pillar woes

page 3 is 2 people talking about lock actuators. think I see what you mean in an earlier post though. how would one suggest repairing said plastic? it looks like one of the pieces has been broken for a while since there's a nice layer of dirt over the break. i can only imagine how many times this a-pillar has been off considering there used to be a spot light running through it

Page 3, post #52 shows the pic of the backside of the pillar. I used automotive glue.
