My version of cup holders

Not super inventive, but they work and they look like they belong!

Took two of those fold up marine cup holders, and a 5"x5" piece of .032 aluminum, sandwiched the door panel between the two and riveted it all together. Works like a charm, took no time to do and it was cheap. The appraiser didn't even take note of them when he went over my car.

Never mind the mess... That's been all cleaned up.

Re: My version of cup holders

I have the exact one but its mounted on the passenger side of the center console right next to the radio with two sided tape. Best aftermarket solution I have seen.

Those actually match pretty well with the camaro interior. I would never do that to mine, but they do look stock if you didnt know otherwise.

Re: My version of cup holders

I don't even notice them now that I've driven the car around a bunch. Only negative, is if they are open you have to remember to not kick them with your feet when getting in.

I'm hopefully re-doing the door panels this winter and adding some door speakers, so I'm going to somehow keep these in the same position.

I have door speakers, and unfortunately where those are mounted is pretty much the ONLY available cut out in the door to put speakers, and even then it's a tight fit if you have power windows (the motor housing is right there as well).
