Power to Manual Windows?
Anyone swap out power windows for manual? Just looking for opinions on how it turned out? Does it look hacked or??? What did you fill in the center console holes with?
I'm not convinced I'm going to do it yet..

Previous owner of my car did it.
Easy way to keep it from looking hacked is to buy new door panels and a new shift plate.

Re: Power to Manual Windows?
I don't think the piece of the center console that the window switches sit in is removable from the center console. At least it isn't on the 88 and 87 i own. So you would either have to fill them or get a different center console if you wanted to get rid of the switches.
As far as converting, I haven't done either way. I was in the process of swapping to power Windows and door locks in my 88 but changed my mind when I got my iroc. If you want it to look right, you're probably looking at New door panels, and then a new center console, on top of the obvious window track stuff. I would highly recommend if you do it, to be careful removing everything because if it's all in good shape, there is always a demand for power harnesses and switches.
