Steering wheel restoration options

Aside from spending $400 for a wheel from Hawks, is anyone here aware of another option? I am trying to restore an IROC wheel that's got the typical wear. None of my local trim shops offer the service and I can't find any replacement covers online. Any help is appreciated. I'm trying to avoid one of those ugly, stitch-on cover wraps.

Chuck Pelton.

In fact, I think the $400 Hawks wheels are Chuck Pelton steering wheels you can get directly for half that.

A little more than half (I think $250 now), but close. Also you have to have a core for that price.

Yes $250.00 to cover your wheel that you need to send to Chuck to cover.
Hawks charges $399 for a wheel without a core and $349.00 with a core.
now to the shipping,IIRC I paid about $50 to ship(can't find receipt) to Chuck but he doesn't charge to ship back. So if you buy from Hawks and send a wheel that's $50 and Hawks sends you a wheel that's another $50,so your looking at another $100.Just saying.
