120° led dash lights?

While IV got the column out of my car I'm going to swap in my 145 cluster and want to upgrade to some led bulbs while I'm there. On superbright they have a 194 bulb that has a wider beam than what's recommend. Will they work alright?

Re: 120° led dash lights?

Keep in mind that when switching to LEDs the dim won't work on the dash.
The dimmer is analog, LEDs would need a PWM signal to dim, therefore the dimmer won't be sending the correct signal. At some point I want to make a writeup on converting the signal, just haven't gotten around to it in my LT1 build...

It photographs unevenly but the cluster is lit evenly.

I've tried the red and blue; I prefer white for the cluster. The pillar gauges remain red.
