Car: 86 Camaro

Engine: '03 4.8 vortec

Transmission: 4l60e

Axle/Gears: 3.42

2 1/4 vs. 3" exhaust

my collector is 3",would it be better to run 3" pipe to mufflers or reduce it down to 2 1/4 to mufflers
