I put about 50,000 miles on them. They are noisy at low speed in parking lots and so forth but not at road speeds. The car handled extremely well. I will keep them. Now I am going to have to dial in the coil over rear end and I plan to use Ground Control front springs and Koni's.

Not keen on it making noise at low speeds. Talking about squeaking and what not?

No squeaking, just the spherical bearings light clicking. I'm talking about LOW speeds < 20 mph. Heck as harsh as these cars were from the factory it's no big deal to me. I mean if I wanted Cadillac ride and quiet I'd have bought a Caddy.

That's interesting, wouldn't expect them to rattle. Worth it for the handling though huh?

if you're using 1/2" rod ends on the lca's and panhard rod with the stock 12mm hardware, there's about 0.7 mm worth of play there, lol

So I'd be better off going with what? Stock hardware and poly bushing standard ends? How do you make up that play?

Dude, it's the nature of the beast. I work on heavy jets for a living, spherical bearings are all over aircraft for control rods and support rods. They have a tendency to have a minute amount of play and do rattle some. As I said for the better handling to me it is worth it. At normal road speeds they are quiet, I guarantee poly bushings are noisy also, I installed poly-graphite in the front end of my Camaro, per the manufacturer they said graphite impregnated poly would not squeak, bull, they squeak til they get warm. If quiet is what you want stay with rubber. Like I said a Camaro is not a Cadillac it's rough, noisy and at times tough on the body but usually fun to drive.

mw66nova, I'm using 1/2" rod ends on the lca's and panhard rod but my kit included the correct 1/2" hardware so the difference in hardware standards is not an issue.

lol. drill out factory mounting tabs to accept 1/2" hardware grade8 1/2" hardware on all my suspension components. my rod ends are quiet, but they are "harsh".

if you want "quiet", get new rubber bushings. i've been exceedingly disappointed by poly bushings lately.

After going back through this build page again, I think i'm sold on going with those MId-tube headers vs factory manifolds.

They did not require any movement of the engine. Depending on your setup, you may have to put one in from the bottom.
