Fuel question

Well after looking and asking and getting no results, I am going to pose this question in its own thread.

I am building an LS motor for my car and I need to know what to do with the fuel system. i have a 4th gen tank and an LS1 firebird fuel filter. I drew up a diagram, but it seems to me that putting a T after the fuel filter and having a return there would just cause the fuel to pressurize both lines and simply drain back into the tank, thus not pressurizing the feed line. Attached is what I cam up with, tell me what to do TGO!

Re: Fuel question

Why don't you get a corvette filter? And that wouldn't work and if it did you won't get enough fuel to the rails

Already had an LS1 f-body filter and I am trying to utilize that.

Is the pressure regulator already on the in tank pump setup for the ls1 return? So what I am asking is the place where the return is on the in tank pump is that regulated or is the feed regulated?

I have my return from my regulator after the rails , the car seems to like that more. you can use a regulator but you'll be spending more money just to use the f body filter

Re: Fuel question

I have my pumps go to the feed line to the passenger fuel rail and then to the driver side then to the regulator and back to the tank, but i do have aftermarket fuel rails

Re: Fuel question

Your setup will work as long as you have retained the factory regulator in the fuel module.

You picture shows the return going to the center which is the vent....
You need to plumb the return to the port closest to the passenger side of the car.
This is the return port.
