E38 and A/C

E38 and A/C
Anyone run A/C with their 58x engine? Like other challenges, the E38 ECM won't control A/C when converted to stand alone. My harness has an a/c wire that basically runs from the dash to the compressor. It's meant for vintage air kits, but vintage air doesn't make a kit for the third gen trans am. I can get a sanden compressor and a trinary switch. Then what? From what I've been reading on LS1tech, there is no provision for idle bump and high rpm cut-off when using E38. 58x is a total pain. If I had to do it over again, I would have done more research before buying a gen iv engine.

Re: E38 and A/C
Thanks for the response. I looked at this diagram. The thread you linked reference yet another thread about a 5.3L swap. This diagram was provided:
Both diagrams have wiring to a 411 PCM. The E38 won't control A/C. I'm reconsidering my decision to go with the 58x Gen IV engine. Maybe I need to get another harness, a 411, and a lingenfelter adapter.

Re: E38 and A/C
Just bypass the computer and run it as the first diagram I showed you, but go straight from the command to the relay.
