Ls wiring
i have been looking at the ls wiring guide. I was wondering if someone who's done this before may be able to pm me for some help. Right now I'm wiring my complete car using a universal painless harness. I can easily do the engine. My questions come in powering off my fuse box. Using aftermarket gauges as well

Re: Ls wiring
thing is there is no c100 in this car. I am running a universal harness. I need to wire up a standalone unit pretty much.

Re: Ls wiring
Ok I'll restart this.
i have an 88gta that was gutted. I have rewired the interior and all lighting using a painless universal harness. We are at the point of wiring the engine. Harness i am using is just wires no connectors. I am wondering should I get a truck harness and wire it stand alone.
My second option is wiring it to the new harness. I'm getting myself very confused because when I read the instructions on here since most are swapping they talk about the colors at c*****. Is there a pinout diagram that lists what goes to the car ignoring plugs
If it's. Better to wire standalone dose anyone have a good link to building a stand alone harness instead of an intergrated one.

Re: Ls wiring
This will show you how a 2000 Camaro is wired so you can reverse engineer how you want to do this.

Also, here is how the power distribution simplifies.

Re: Ls wiring
If you haven't sorted out main power distribution then consider this device....

Handy little unit. Mount it as close to battery as possible to protect the cables from damage if there is an electrical short to ground.
