I don't know why I didn't post these back in August when I took them...but who knows. I helped organize a car show in a small town just outside Ottawa...so I decided it would be the perfect time to show off my girls. It was the first time I've had them all together in public. Was a pain in the *** getting them there, but the thumbs up and comments all day made it worthwhile. Last pic is from home base sometime in September.


Anyways, hope you enjoy. Hoping to add a 2nd Gen to the pictures next year.

Nice collection! I like the '83 Z28 too, one of my favorite colors, but you need bright sunlight for it to really shine.

very nice. last year I had a 84z, 86 iroc, and 95z. similar to you. I sold the 86 iroc though.

Hi all, I wanted to update this thread as I just participated in an indoor show here in my home town (Ottawa). There hasn't been one here in close to 10 years I think...so a lot of people were glad to see it back...myself included.

Nice clean examples. Fantastic! I wouldn't mind an 83 with an upgraded drivetrain. What color red on the IROC-Z?

I wouldn't either, but with 20,000 miles, original paint (and everything else for that matter) I won't be touching it. I did just order a set of old school looking chrome rims though...but am keeping the originals for "show duty"...I just like chrome.

The 87 is your normal bright-red. It has been resprayed though, modern base/clear makes it much more shiny!!!

So that's not the original code bright red used on the IROC-Z correct?

Honestly have no clue as I bought it this way. It is NOT the original paint, but it is my understanding they did use the right code. I had the hood redone in 2011 by a local GM Dealer, and I instructed them to use the original colour for the year and it matches very well. It could just be the camera playing tricks...

I wish I had a before picture though, I'm pretty sure I bought the only PINK IROC in all of Canada...spent about 2 weeks bringing it back to life as it was heavily faded. I get compliments on it everywhere I go now...even though I wish to respray eventually (it was a cheap job, they didn't even remove the emblems/panels, just masked it all off and it shows up close. But she's a good 5-10 footer.
