1991 Camaro RS 3.1v6
Hello there. I have bin on these forums a lot and haven't started a thread here on my project yet. I have owned a 1991 Camaro RS for 9 months now. I have bin using it as a daily driver. have done a couple modifications. I am now throwing the car in the bodyshop I work at. I'm currently 17 years old and am apprenticing for a autobody journeyman. I have had two years experience now and think im ready to build my Camaro. I also have a couple of hands from my co-workers
First day i got it
Here is my car when i just painted the front bumper. theres a little bit of bugs on the front in this picture
I also painted my bezel and a strip on my dashboard.
around the same time I built a subbox. fits two tens. I plan to paint the subbox using fibreglass methods.
My wires here are a mess. This is when i first threw it in.

Re: 1991 Camaro RS 3.1v6
Late January I started my project. It has bin slow lately so i got my self a second job and am saving up to rebuild the body.
A view of the subbox outside the car
I am doing a shave on the RS badge on the rear bumper. Both sideskirts will have the RS shaved off
I did alot of sanding, there was previous paintjobs. Plus the sanding of the badge shave.
Primed it
If you look closely badge shave didnt turn out perfect, i will have to sand the top side more and reprime that area.

Looks like a good start and I like the teal cars. I too need to get cracking on the body work on my RS.

Nice start on the car. Those Pioneers are a pretty good choice if you have to work with limited space, buddy has them in the back of his vert mustang and they pound!

Re: 1991 Camaro RS 3.1v6
Haven't planned any motor work yet. I'm just working on the body for now. Just keeping my 3.1 V6 in there and get it running good. I'm more cosmetic before motor. I do want to put a larger motor in the future. 350 would probably be my choice.
