What is the plan for the motor/suspension? Cleaning the wheel wells, tunnel and under the hood sucks. I just did the same thing my self. So time consuming.

Its terrible man. I had 30 hours into the bottom of that thing just grinding away at 30 years worth of dirt, undercoating, grease, you name it.
Mainly my plan is to make it look perfect underneath. everything powder coated, all new bushings, bolts, bearings, seals, gas and brake lines, ect.
I plan on going with a UMI K-member and A-arms. Koni yellows all around. Brand new posi unit in the rear, aluminum drive shaft, founders lower control arms and torque arm....pretty much the works.
The biggest difference/change/what I'm most excited for is the brake upgrade. Going with CTS-V calipers all around with matching drilled slotted rotors. I will be using Bigbrakeupgrades spindle/hub/adapter set to make them work. The rears will be a bit more difficult because I need to machine a custom bracket to mount the calipers and e-brake assembly.
As far as the motor goes, it has a full forged rotating assembly, buying new APR heads, COMP Thumpr Cam, and everything will remain mostly the same. Eventually I will switch to an LS setup but this current engine has a ton of sentimental value (Built with my dad and grandfather).
The car should be back on the road driving is 6 months. I'll keep posting pics.

I'd honestly say right in the middle. It has little rubber pieces in it which are a moderately soft once dry but I can tell you this stuff is NOT coming off.

I guess my main want is to be able to clean them. The soft stuff, once something is embedded in it it becomes a gooey mess to remove or turns brown from the dust. Is it labeled as paintable? SEM has some paintable undercoating I have been looking at. I ask because if it's paintable it will dry hard. More prone to chips but easily fixed and it's not a daily driver.

Nice car. Just did a similar job on mine.
What kind of fuel tank did you buy? (my original tank was gunked up inside so I bought a replacement (spectra I think) and it's a pain in the *** to fill. always wants to spit fuel back out and down the side of the car.

I used the original gas tank and had it powdercoated. Came out amazing! Ive only heard negative things about the spectre replacement gas tank for these cars :/
