Just a few pictures of my 89. When I bought her she looked ok but it was all just a deception. The further I got into the car the more stuff I found wrong. Upon first opening the hood I found an edelbrock carb that had been on fire several times due to the amount of soot I found in carb. Every harness under hood had been hacked. It had a junk radiator in It with a fan setup that I think came off of a dodge caravan. No the the radiator and fan were secured with zipties. It had a 75 Vette motor in it which was about the only good thing I found. I pulled it and sold it immediately. It had a destroyed TH400 in it that I had rebuilt using premium parts. The crossmember was junk and it had a makeshift torque arm bracket that I literally loosened by hand. I'm sure there is a lot more that I have not listed as far as stuff I found wrong initially.
Since then I have built and installed a 383 making 465/495. Went with Hedman LTs, Holley 750 carb, external fuel pump and filter, 4th gen rearend, all new brakes, seals and bearings all around. 3200 stall, ratchet shifter, thrush welded mufflers, UMI crossmember and frame connectors. She is being prepped for paint and waiting on new front wheels. Just thought I'd share a little bit.

No, says "This video is private."
Probably need to make it public on your YouTube channel.

Re: Project Mayhem
Nice...any plans to cover the air filter with a scoop? Would be a nice way to jam some extra cool air down the carb and protect it from the elements.
