Help!!! C5 zo6 wheels

I have a 89 rs, and I just bought some zo6 wheels for it the only problem is I'm scared they won't fit. The fronts are 18x10.5 and rears are 19x11, I know I'll need spacers but can someone point me in the right direction to what thickness I should go with. The car is going to be lowered on sportlines soon too

Re: Help!!! C5 zo6 wheels

C5 Z06 wheels are typically 17x9.5" in the front and 18x10.5" in the rear. You will need a 2 inch spacer as long as they are these wheels. I would suggest a 295 rear to make sure there are no clearence issues with a fender lip.

Re: Help!!! C5 zo6 wheels

These are my wheels. Got them for a good price just don't know if they'll fit or if a 2" spacer is all I need since they're so wide.

I can't tell what it would take to make them fit but this should help you determine exactly what it is you have in terms of dimensions.
Looks to me that you're as posted earlier. 17x9.5" in the front and 18x10.5" in the rear.

Thanks man I feel like a idiot now lol that's what the guy who sold them to me told me so I ran with it. Thanks everyone for your help. Now time to find some spacers and tires. Any suggestions on what size tires to get?

That wasn't my intention. But I know what you mean (been there, done that). It's helpful to have the correct info going forward.

This sounds as practical advice as any. I haven't followed up on any research to see who's done what here at third gen but the longer your thread stays active, the more likely someone with direct experience is bound to provide additional details.
You could mock up appropriate spacers out of blocks of wood if you wanted too and examine/measure the gaps to the inner and outer fenders. That would give you a good visual with little to no expense.
Good luck. I'll be curious to see what you end up with. I'd like a wider tire myself but aren't particularly interested in the big freaking hammer approach (if you know what I mean).

Re: Help!!! C5 zo6 wheels

Most likely going to do 245/35 in the front and 295/35 in the rear then I'll see what size spacers I need. I'll be sure to post a pic of the car when the wheels are mounted!
