Probably 25+ years ago, I worked at a supermarket with this hot 'ol MILF who had an '84 Z28. Damn that was a cool car; at quitting time, we used to fight over who would pull her car up to the door. I still have a soft spot for white 82-84 Z's because of that.

Not a thirdgen, but close. Seems like a decent price for a car that someone has dumped a bunch of $$$ into:

Check out this beauty on Virginia's Eastern Shore. 24 year owner, 27K original miles (so he claims). $4750. Killer deal, if everything checks out. From the pics, looks like a beauty!

Not 27 k, 127k Right in the description: odometer: 127900
I knew no way a low mile car would go that low.
"All original (except radio & oil, brakes, etc)" This is nice to know on a 127,000 mile car

Salvage title scares me, and it's hard to believe that much money has been put into the car when it wouldn't surprise me if it got exaggerated "a lil bit".

I know this ,many states will not register a car with a salvage title. theyre parts cars strictly. case in point .in Georgia you don't need a title for a car of a certain vintage.but if someone from ,say TN goes down and buys it ,and all the PO has to offer is a "bill of sale" its a no go. no title= no plates. so I think "salvage title" is one huge red flag.

This would make a really clean roller. 53K original miles, engine probably toast. Interior looks new. 15" IROC rims, I'm guessing this was a TBI car.

Re: Craigslist finds, good and bad

Well I got a new bird yesterday from a guy in Stafford. it was a Craigslist ad. I had to sell my GTA sadly, but here she is. It doesn't have the correct front or rear spoiler nor the correct hood. I didn't care. I thought it looked nice for what it was and runs very strong. I'll mainly tart working on the interior.

Look closely. In this case, $8500 does not get you a lowish-mile vert. This crap was popular in the '80's, but I've never seen it done to a third gen before.

And I wish that would die out! They're not fooling anyone into thinking they have a convertible, especially those that do it to new 4-door cars. If you have money to spend to give your car a $2k vinyl top (money that you won't recoup when you sell it), give that to charity instead.

Re: Craigslist finds, good and bad

Here's an overhead console, of the "rare" variety, supposedly out of an IROC. Missing it's map light, this piece can be snagged for the reasonable price of $400.

Wow, I think I have one in the garage somewhere. Also missing the flashlight tho. After seeing that I guess I'd take 300 for it
