I was looking for some info on BIR (brainard international raceway) in MN. I heard they have track days where u can run the road course for a small fee. Has anyone tried this and what are the rules?

Re: BIR track day?

I have only been there once to the NHRA drags, but have heard about track days also, maybe this will help; http://brainerdraceway.com/for-drivers/ I found these on the bottom of the page.

Re: BIR track day?

I think it normally runs on Wednesdays. I'm looking forward to finally getting there sometime this summer if I can ever decide on what color to paint my 'Bird.

• Street legal treaded tires are required both front and rear with a visible DOT stamp. Tires will be inspected for overall condition. (Bare cords will not be permitted.)
• A radiator overflow catch can of at least 16oz is required for all vehicles and must be securely mounted.
• Batteries must be secured per OEM (manufacturer’s supplied tie down), or with a minimum 2-3/8 inch diameter bolts. No bungee straps or cords will be accepted.
• Vehicles must have working seat belts securely fastened to the frame or floor, or with factory mounting.
