89 gta, auto trans, high miles. about 230k+ but the engine is solid. i parked it in november and knew i was selling it this spring. took it out the first time the other day to a potential buyer and i guess the trans doesnt want to shift into third. looking into it now if the filter is clogged or something. ill give it to the first reasonable offer. the motor is solid as a rock, i brought it up from arizona where it lived its whole life. the hood and bumper are firebird, i couldnt find gta replacements. but anyways, id rather sell it to one of you guys. here is the craigslist ad. or call/text me 845 505 5799 and the name is Ritz

I have a 1989 Formula 350, live in the Hudson Valley as well. Sad we don't see these on the road more often. Good luck on selling it!

I could have sold it for bank out in arizona when i left. They love these down there. Would always see the shells in the yards, but not a decent part on them. Out here, the yards are full of them. Tons of parts. They just dont like these up here . I had a good lead on a few buyers, all flakes. Basically asking for nothing, just want it to go to a good home. At least i got it to shift into third a few times yesterday, theres hope. In case i have to hang on to it.

Yeah I don't get why they are not popular here these days. Man back when I bought mine in 1989 all sorts of 3rd gens were everywhere. They dont have any taste theses days...just noisy Subaru's with big stupid muffers out the back.

I did see a clean white base 3rd gen firebird in Fishkill today though! Young guy driving it too. Saw a nice 3rd gen camaro last week cruising in Wappingers as well.

there was a car show the past two saturday nights at the hannaford in highland, saw a great GTA in mint condition there last week. my old neighbors in saugerties had a white gta in their garage, only saw it once, but i slammed my brakes when i did lol
