Re: 91 camaro drivetrain parts-Roseville
Technically, this thread should be in the classified section of the forum. I'm thinkin you will be ok, but for future reference, these types of post should go there. Good luck with the sale.

Thank You and sorry. Is there a classifieds for the nor cal region or do I just have to post it under all classifieds?

This is the correct place for the ad since you are local and especially if you are not going to ship.
There is not a regional classified section, just the general area.
If you are willing to ship your parts, you may want to post in general classified as well.
Some regional boards like Ontario for example have more classified ads in their boards than casual chat threads.
Welcome aboard and check out the stickies up top.

I'll back up the thoughts that you're fine with doing your advertising with your local guys first. That way, the people you'll show & shine with get the best deals and are most likely to reciprocate when you need something. Most of us tend to use both venues: we'll offer the deals here locally first, then go advertise on the 'for sale' board, then thirdly hit Ebay.
We'll also post up here if we find a screaming great deal on something posted elsewhere. What type of direction are you planning on going with your new little beast over the winter months? Nitro-Nicky

Re: 91 camaro drivetrain parts-Roseville
I think I'm startin from the ground up on this one. Have brand new sub frame connectors, front and rear sway, panhard, eibach springs, torque arm, bushings, traction bars. So this winter will be mostly under car. I really want the Bilstein shocks but they're a grand around the board. Does anyone know of a high quality brand that would be a little easier on my wallet? I've never run KYBs or anything so I don't know if they're any good or not. Any advice especially from experience would be appreciated. Here's a few pics of my car. 305 tbi 5 speed. Scored it from some kid in Santa Cruz for $1200. Njoy and thanks.

Re: 91 camaro drivetrain parts-Roseville
I personally never liked the harshness of KYB's on the small imports and always found the best bang for the performance buck to be Tokico's. However, with the great deal of weight our Camaro's are dragging around, people seem to swear by the KYB's.
I'm doing all adjustable yellow Koni's it looks like. I've got their Red units in the rear, but in the rough as heck roads I live around they just don't cut it. They Koni Yellow's up front with the Hotchkis progressive springs seem sweet and are carving the corners like a chainsaw but my rear is majorly 'off' at this point.
Hey, Best of Luck!!
