Re: SUPER CHEVY WEEKEND - COLORADO
I would like to cruise up your way with in the next 2 years. The people in CO. were Very nice & the state is beautiful.
Here in AZ. our big dragstrip [Firebird Intl. Raceway] is located on Trible Land. A few years ago the track owner was told by the Trible land owners, that when his land lease expires, it would not be renewed. At that point, he withdrew from the Super Chevy Show program. Thus we have not had a SCS event here since.
Now the track is owned by the Trible Indians & has a new name; 'Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park'.
I have been working with the new management team to get the Super Chevy Show back in AZ.
When we eventually get it SCS back, you, and the rest of the krazzzies in CO. will have to come down to the 'Valley of the Sun', and show off your incredible rides.

Show was great! Both my cars received winners awards in their classes, and got some great attention from the a couple photographers and the editior for SC. Maybe get to see my car in print soon... Fingers crossed and toes double crossed.

I'd love to come down there, but not sure I want roll down in the summer in my black cars... they might melt!!!! I actually have some friends in the area, I'd love to turn it into a vacation. Probably won't happen for a few years with the new babies on the way.

Congrats on your double win ! Great photos, and the Camaro's look AWESOME. I'm sure you'll get some ink in the SC mag.
That would be great If you come down, when we get this SC party started up again..... OR come down for some of our shows in the fall or spring. We have many car shows that average 600 to 1200 cars, in one show.
We have a local car newspaper called Roddin' & Racin'. I take a lot of photos for the paper, and I would put your HOT Camaro on the front page ! Also I can have you interviewed with your ride, for the Roddin' & Racin' TV show. Check out www.RoddinAndRacinTV.com .
Congrats on the car show and on the growing family.

YES!!! Rod I have an almost 3 year old now, and got twin babies (lil boy and girl) coming probably sometime in late October. So all of the stuff about coming down to AZ sounds really cool, but will probably be a long while before I will get to pull any car guy road trips. I'll be completely broke before I know it, and having me time is pretty much out the window now... haha!
If something changes with that plan, and I can sneak away in the spring or fall, I would love too. I need to get with Chris Fesler and get him motivated to make billet hinges for us. He doesn't think I'm serious.
Thanks man. I forgot your screen name here, but congrats on your Hemmings coverage as well. That was a very cool write up, especially since I have pics of our cars together.

That is so AWESOME ! ! Great pic too. Daniella looks really happy.
Glad you guys have the Yukon (It looks BA !). My neighbor is a Phoenix Firefighter, he will ONLY allow his wife & kids to ride in their big Chevy Suburban. He has seen so many fatalities with small cars, especially when hit by a truck or SUV.
Sending you a PM.
