I remember those days, hanging out in the parking lot waiting for some action.

Re: A Pic of two 80's icons.

The only thing better than a Grand National, is a TransAm GTA with the same powertrain. I hear there were only 15xx or so of them.

Wish GM would do more with turbo power trains.

Pontiac should have shoved the 2.0L LNF Ecotec turbo into the G6 GTP's instead of the 3.9L the did. Cars would have gotten quite the reputations if you could just swap the turbo and get some big power out of it.

Re: A Pic of two 80's icons.

Summer of 1984 was the last hurrah for me as it was the summer before my Senior year in college. I had two jobs, drove a tractor for the state mowing fields up at the Quabbin Reservoir and worked nights at Kappy's Liquors in Springfield stocking shelves. I was raking in the cash, would bank my state check and would spend the night money on car parts, bars and weekends out on Cape Cod.

We would spend our nights after work out in the mall parking lot playing Frisbee & drinking beer, cars parked like that in a line with the stereos way up, waiting for somebody with a hot car to come along looking to pick a fight.

That picture brings back so many memories! Good times!

Seems like we've just been getting sunny/freezing or raining/warmer. Never both. This week's forecast is looking too good to be true though! Praying to get her running by next weekend.

Re: A Pic of two 80's icons.

I'm on nights thrue June at minimum.

This mth 12/14 nights, next mth 10/14 nights and June 12/14 again......

Life sucks, schedule sucks, bank account growth should be exponential

But.......................$$$$$$ for projects should be easily available once I get out of work prison. Only big thing is a bigger vehicle for her and the bozos.

Pole barn will happen within a couple years I'm hoping!

I would kill for some nice nights right now, but it is only April.
