1992rs/ss

Like the title says I am moving to NWI (munster specifically) and I am trying to understand emissions laws the '92 will have to adhere to. In IL '95 and older don't have to test anymore because they are too broke to operate the rolling test stands. So I gutted all emissions equipment on the car and it will be running a holley efi system. Now that I am reading the IN emissions site it says all cars back to '76!

Now it appears if you register as a show car there is an out, but what are all of the heavy mod guys doing on here to put their cars on the road? It looks like the rules talk about having documents saying it was shown minimum 4 times in 2 years, and it has to pass inspection to prove its a show car. I want to shake the car down mechanically before having it painted but guessing with a gutted interior it won't pass.

What are my options fellow NWI people?

Yup, she has to see the rollers!!!

Testing is done every other year, evens with evens, odds with odd, so in 2016, a 1992 would need a test.

Is there anyone in an outside county that you can register the car to? Only Lake and Porter county test, im 10 mins south in Newton and no testing here!

Has to be "inspected" does not have to see the rollers.

This is from last year when I had time to look at the stuff.

Being stripped down in anyway will probably not work however.
