I hate it when I order the wrong stuff!
So the GTA's been a bit weak willed lately. One of the things I didn't replace when I did this engine was the ignition module and the coil, I replaced everything else. Even went the extra expense for AC Delco parts where I could.
Its developed a moderate miss-fire and power has been weak. Sometimes I'll start it in the morning and it just doesn't want to run under any load.
So I got the replacement coil over the weekend, and went to install it today. The connector is wrong. I must have made a typo when putting in the make/model/year. Cause I got a coil for a 96 Camaro, and not the coil for the 95. The 95 looks like every other thirdgen TPI coil with that weird double connector. The 96 has a much more sensible connector, but it doesn't match my harness.
So I got all excited to see if this fixed the mis-fire issues.....and.....nope. Wrong coil.

I can only laugh because I've done it too.
Anyone who says otherwise is lying.
Just really sucks when your all gung ho and then find out its the wrong part.
Even more fun when its something major or half the car is torn down......
