Pictures, Video, and Chronicals of the Mu11et Militia fall 2014 meet! New bests!
Saturday we had our 2nd Annual Fall Meet with the Mu11et Militia. The turnout was pretty fantastic. The group is gaining steam and we probably had 30 or 40 guys show up, with probably 15 or more guys running.
let me start by saying it was very cold. probably too cold to be running really, but i'm glad we did. we had several guys show up from PA and VA, some driving more than 3 hours 1 way just to come hang out! it was a very cool day. along with the cold comes very excellent DA though. we measured -1400' at the track at one point. everyone was getting pumped about going down the track. getting the cars going was a challenge for the higher hp cars as the cold temps meant a slick track, but Capitol Raceway was on top of prep after the first few guys went down and several guys ended up with personal best 60's and 1/4 mile times!
Chucky ended up with a new personal best in his 87 GTA bracket car project. he ran a 12.03 @ 110 mph on a 1.58 60!
I ran a personal best as well with a 10.25 @ 134 mph on a 1.39 60!
we got more data than we know what to do with right now and i will spend this winter getting a few details ironed out. i hope that next spring my car will be into the 9's

i gave two awards away yesterday. one for the fastest pass which went to a guy named brad who clicked off a 10.46 at 131 mph with his ls1/t56 powered thirdgen. the other was for the best reaction time of the day. a guy named rick won that with a .004 reaction time.

yeah, we're done for the season. i think this racetrack stays open till the snow flies, but it's gonna be too dang cold to justify going out again. once the sun went behind the trees, the traction went out the window, almost like someone turned a light switch off, lol!
