off season updates

so race season finally starting back up again. my local track is opening wed night which is good except the 80 percent chance of rain!!! i thought i would post a few pictures of what i have done in the off season. last year i had to keep the car above 11.50 cause of no roll bar so got a roll bar put in. it really was not as bad as i thought it would be to install. i also wanna try and tighten my runs up a little so i bought a biondo shift solenoid and got it wired and put in. i also mounted my msd box my 3 step and my rpm switch on a panel all together for a cleaner look. car ran 11.29 last year at 124 mph. so hopefully this year i can run 11 teens and go some rounds. i think i would get in the real low 11s with some gear. right now i am running a 3.43 and 28 inch tire. i am tryin to baby that ten bolt. i only leave a 2k. my lovely wife also bought me a gopro for christmas so i got my rollbar mount in and am just ready to race!!!

Re: off season updates

I guess it's good and bad that you can get on track this early. Good as in you get lots of track time. Bad that you have very little off time to get things ready for the new season. Regional tracks around here usually open up in mid May and even then, there's a chance of snow shutting down the first race of the year. We get from Mid May to Mid September to race. That's not a lot of track time.
