ok pretty pleased with my last weekend ran a 12.56@107.5 with a 1.74 60' getting it dialed in. I'm happy for my first trip to the track in at least 5years.

Re: New best

91 Formula 8.5:1 383, AFR 195's, Holley stealth ram, hooker 1 3/4 long tubes, and a megasquirt. It is quit the under achiever, wish I would have built it 11:1 instead but I'm trying to see if I can get it into the 11's with this setup. I'm also running tubular front a arms and cross member as well as qa1 single adjustable front struts and Viking rears with a 9" and 3.90's and a fresh 700r4 with a 3500 local built stall. I'm running the Rocky Mountain Race Week in two weeks

Re: New best

How do you like the QA1 struts? Whose K-member and a-arms did you go with?

Re: New best

PA racing tubular parts and the struts are good I've only got about 80miles on them and 6 passes so I'm still figuring them out. but they seem to work well.

as far as cam specs go it's an old cc306 duration is 290in 307exh 230 244 @.050 .544 .577 lift 112lsa not ideal for my compression.

Re: New best

wow. what was different? .81 drop in ET is HUGE. what does the car weigh? what was the DA on the 12.56 vs. the 11.75 pass? What was the MPH on the 11.75 pass?

Re: New best

Yeah that's an extremely big drop without changing anything. I am assuming you were able to hook with a 1.5x sixty foot or better, and closer to, or around, 110-mph in the traps...

Re: New best

the da for the 12.5 was 3550 here in Phoenix, the 11.75 was with 100hp nitrous at great bend KS not sure what the DA was. I was using nitrous that week for the race to keep it in the 12's at 5 different tracks ranging in elevation from 5800-1900 and I left the bigger kit in to finally get an 11 second pass. I averaged a 12.41 for the week (second in class) which I consider good since I turned in a 13.08 the first day After crossing 2 plug wires on a plug change. Once I found the problem the lanes were closed. It was an Amazing week of racing. and the car weighs 3470 with me in it.
