Horsepower estimates on build; Will I hit 13's?
I have a 88 L98 IROC, here's the list of parts I'm bolting on
GM vortec heads 1.94/1.5 brand new from summit
Scoggin Dickey lower intake
Comp cams 1.6 roller tip rockers
BBK 3 pc underdrive pulleys
Hooker shorty headers
Hooker Hi-flow y pipe
24lb injectors
BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Leaving everything else alone, no money for a cam right now, if I ever have to crack into the shortblock I will.
The car will be professionally tuned for 93 octane at a local shop with a chassis dyno
I'm just curious what you guys think the hp/torque possibility is with this combination. I know it will obviously be a low rpm torquer, with stock upper and runners.
I'm hoping for a 13.99, or 100mph trap speed... I'd be happy. It's a stock 700R4 and 3.27 gears, launching off the brake on street tires.

Re: Horsepower estimates on build; Will I hit 13's?
Should be making somewhere around 300-320hp at the crank.
A bolt-on L98 with the stock heads should be solid 13's, for that matter, so should a LB9 as well as long as it doesn't have the peanut cam.
With vortec heads/base you should be able to run 13's without much issue.
