Another Street Outlaws Guys Just Crashed His Car
I just saw this on facebook and this time it's not a regular start, but Mile Murillo who's been on the show a few times. Wrecked it at a No Prep Event Last Night and rolled three times! Ouch! http://www.epicspeed.net/street-outl...eway-in-texas/
So this year that makes Daddy Dave, Big Chief, BoostedGT and now Mike Murillo!!!!
Who else watches the show?

I hate web sites that have some sort of "sorry to see you go" "please subscribe etc" pop up when you move the pointer out of the window. Move it back in to close the popup and the screen stays shaded on that page. Very annoying.

its sad to see anyone wreck their car. as someone who has built their own car, I would be devastated if I were in those shoes. glad he is ok. When you are making as much power as some of those guys, you have to understand that bad things like this can happen. its the unfortunate part of this hobby. I didnt know BoostedGT wrecked. hope hes ok.

The only good thing I can say about the crash is that you can hear him let off the throttle to try and get the car under control. Too many of these types of racers think they have ***** that are too big and feel no matter what that they can get a good pass and complete the run.
If it wasn't a single run then it's possible he may have stayed into it and caused even more damage.
I'd hate to crash my car that bad but when I go racing, I always expect to break something and will eat the cost of repairs to go racing again. It's all part of the hobby.

Re: Another Street Outlaws Guys Just Crashed His Car
are you kidding me? the only good thing i can say about that crash is that the driver was not injured. there is a huge difference between breaking parts and totaling/crashing a car. I don't care who they are or what their status is, wrecking a car is a gut wrenching experience. although I personally never wrecked a car, I did stand on the starting line early this year as I watched a very close friend wreck a top sportman 63 split window vette. it was very tuff to watch that car hit the wall at 120. he walked away but ended up in the hospital with serious complications. Thankfully he is ok now. I'm in the process of helping get his car cosmetically correct. my point is that any one that has been bitten by the drag racing bug knows the whole point of racing is to push a car to its limits to make the best pass possible(no matter what is in the next lane). when you are doing things like that, things can go really bad really fast even for the most experienced racers. so to say "i broke a trans, rear, kicked rods and so on, is totally different than saying "i totaled my car". I can only hope you, or anyone else on the boards never has to experience saying "i totaled my car".

Anybody who has any sort of vehicle that can go that fast should also have all the proper safety equipment including a full cage. It's highly unlikely in a crash like that the driver won't be able to walk away.
If these guys want to race high powered cars on poor to no track prep, they expect crashes to happen.
