Coil over clearance

Anybody else having the coil over spring hit the spring perch when turning the wheel lock to lock? Already beat the sh*t out of the factory perch but still getting a bit of a clearance issue (red arrow). Was hoping to find a work around to cutting that section of the wheel well out just for rigidities sake. Currently a 12" 150lb spring, picture is at ride height. Thinking i could go down to a 10" or even 8" spring so it sits above that lip but I'm not sure it'll fix anything when the suspension is extended. First picture is at ride height at wheel lock, second picture is sitting on the travel limiters with wheels pointing forward. Thoughts for a work around?
