What meant to say is that "I" wouldn't spend that money. I, on the other hand, would research and contruct my own setup for a lot cheaper.

I dont know to much about turbos and there setup but that seemed pretty reasonable for a kit that you dont have to modify to get to fit......But I am always open to suggestions if you know of a cheaper way to get 2 TO4 turbos (or where for that matter)for less than 2800 and still have money left to get the materials for the manifolds, downpipes, and everything else please enlighten me....
P.S. I am not trying to be a smartA@>! I really don't know

Those guys have posted here quite a bit in the past but I have not seen them post in a little while.
In any case, there are a few guys around here running his kit and everyone has seemed pleased with it.
As far as turbo kits go, $2800 is a hell of a price. Go look around at turbo kits for any 4th gen or for that case, the mustang crowd. $2800 is very competitive.
If you do a SEARCH on this board for BBS Turbo then it should turn up quite a few pictures of how their systems setup on our cars. I think they move some accessories around but Im not positive since I dont own one of their systems.
At least someone stepped up to the plate to make a kit for these cars though.
Good luck!

I've delt with them and the guy is very nice and bends over backwards to help you all he can. He has various single and twin turbo set-ups. That setup pictures is the street system, they have race designed systems with a nicer turbonetics 62-1 turbo(s)
Compare $2800 with a new vortech kit. $2800 suddenly seems cheap for twin turbo.

i have done a search for bbs turbos and came up empty.... The only reason I was looking at the street and strip version is because they say you can run all factory A/C and accesories and in Arizona A/C is a must have......Does anyone have a picture of THIER car with either of these setups on it and if so could I get a pic

ok, this is a longshot, but one of the reasons for the statement in my above post was because I plan on doing an lt1 swap. Would this kit bolt up to it? An lt1 in a third gen - or would you need a kit for a 4th gen lt1? -just curious...:lala:

Hi Guido, Alex, guys,
I have been making quick "pit stops" once on a while here at the board, but yes it's been quite a while since I dont post anything here. Yes, I'm alive!
Been kind of busy and really had nothing new or at least worth of sharing with you guys yet. My 89' GTA TT project is cold right now, radiator blew-up and havent done anything on my 3rd gen. Waiting for a new aluminum radiator and some spare time to spend in my baby(GTA).
Dirtbik3r;
The exhaust bolt pattern/engine dimensions between the LT1 heads and the L98 heads are basically the same, the headers should bolt-in fine, but will require a different header flange; "heart shaped". Also the crossover pipe in the single turbo kits might need some surgery to fit right.
ps: I have a customer with a T-trim Vortech supercharger, recently remanufactured with new bearings and internals, aluminum billet plates, pulleys and some extra parts that wants to sell. I tried to post it on the selling section, but it kept me asking to "log in" after I already had logged in. Anyone knows why this happens?

Thank you for the information BBSDesigns. Damn, that sound's like a big possibility for me in the near future. Starting to think I sound like Kerry, you know... changing my opinion all the time and flip flopping around what I say. Well, at least i admit it.

oh yeah.... and another question how many of these setups have you sold?
Do you have any pictures of the product installed on a customers car?
Have you had any complaints about the setup?
What type of power did the customer see from it? (not from turbos I mean RWHP)

I'd say theres a good chance his headers clear the LT1's ports just fine, everyone has always stated on this board that none of the thirdgen headers will clear the exhaust ports on an LT1, which is one of the biggest loads of bs floating around here, my slp 1 3/4s with a SQUARE port more than covered the d port of the LT1 heads, possibly later this year i'll be at least ordering the BBS single turbo manifold and find out first hand if it will clear the LT1 ports.
The twin kit will probably give you a little trouble with intake piping to the turbos with how far set back the alternator is, other than that it *should* be fine.
The flange bolt hole spacing is also not an issue.
