So what is the max power you can put to the SHP block? For the price it looks like a good option for me, and i won't have to change cams since i can use the oem roller cam set-up.
Did the block die because of the power you pushed thru it or the damage from the turbo pieces or both? What if you had bought the SHP Pro which has billet caps and some other stuff.

Imo since i found my reluctor wheel loose, it may have been detonating a tiny bit which walked the caps. Dead cylinder didnt help. I was on vp110 gas which also is low octane for the power. But bearings looked ok to me and not like detonation. Charlie made 1200+ whp and his caps moved alittle but mine on the dead cylinder moved alot
That said, and i believe charlie will confirm, 1000whp is very comfortable with turbo and safe tune with good internals
Bill cap pro block i would say 1200 max

lol likely. If i dont stop doing other things. Just no desire to finish car. I made alot of progress early then quit when fishing season started and summer ball. Will be out next yr for sure but could be out this fall winter all motor. Fuel system pieces and exhaust is whats holding me up i guess, then gotta wire car
