3rd Gen Related Wall Art
Ok. So I have no idea where to post this, but I gotta be close.
So story is, I'm walking threw HobbyLobby and I say all this cool "ManCave" /"Car Wall Art" and of course Mustangs and Ford stuff or a few Chevy Camaro stuff, but even Camaro art was all geared towards the new body....
So it clicked and I'm thinking, ya know what!!!!
I am and always have been a Trans Am Man! I want some cool wall art! I want some Trans Am stuff, Firebird Stuff and even Camaro Stuff!!!!!
But I want some 3rdGen Art!
So I looked and the market is thin with options and what I found was pretty basic.
How cool would it be, if I owned an 91white Z28 with BlueStripes and could have a piece of wall art, with my car on it!
Idk, basic photo style, or designed background, or even a scene! Who knows! Right!
So for kicks and giggles I went out and got a couple pieces of metal (yup, no plastic- 3rdgen guys get "man" metal) about 24x12" 22g sheets to make some!
Wait!!!!
I dont even know if I can? Never tried to airbrush pictures of cars before....
So, I figured I give it a try, so I used a piece of metal cut out of one of my hoods in the shape of the GTA Shield (correct proportion) to paint a scheme if you will of my current Trans Am.
And this is what I came up with...

Re: 3rd Gen Related Wall Art
So this is as far as I have gotten and think I'll add a little bit more, but for the most part, its an example of the idea.
And for me, its more for fun! But I would love to hear others, thoughts and opinions of the topic!
As for the sheets, I'm thinking I'll pic (have 12) a few of my favorite years and combos and just do some basic ideals but if anyone has some to add, please do!
Thanks

very cool I think it would be cool to just have a mini replica hood of the car to hang on the wall

Re: 3rd Gen Related Wall Art
Thanks guys. I have been working on another one (this week) hopefully finished in a few more days. Its more of a stock one. but i thought how cool would it be to design it scene around the traditional looking wall art.
so instead of the 50 or 60's cars at the dinner...have the 3rdgens.
not sure on background so the first one ill try i think will be a garage scene.
so we will see
thanks again for the replies, i like the mini hood ideal....lol...little firebird/trans am or camaro fiberglass hood...lol...cool
