Terrific event! About 3,000 cars show up. Not many 3rd gen F-bodies though .

Re: South Carolina, Charleston Area?

David, I looked for you last year but you were on the south side of Myrtle. We hang out at a bar on the North end.

Charleston guys, I should be down that way this weekend. I've not been on here in a while as I've been on FB mostly lately. If ya'll want to get together this weekend for a drink and chat let me know. I think I'll be down Saturday, checking out stores for more things that go bang. Won't be in Camaro though as I don't think the seats will fit in it unless I leave the hatch open. Not LOL

Re: South Carolina, Charleston Area?

Run To Sun is for Pre. 89 cars and trucks. I like to see all the burnout during and after the parade on Ocean Boulevard. This goes on from 5PM until 9PM or 10 PM. As long as you keep it straight and not moving forward faster than speed limit. They do not clock the rear tires Just make sure the police is not the car right behind you.

Hello White Gold 88.
Yes... we stay at the South end of Myrtle Beach.
I usually go to the show field on the Friday and always have a blue nylon backpack for purchased goodies, water bottle, lunch etc.

Thanks! I thought it was no big deal but the doc says the tissue was injured too, so it needs to be immobilized for two more weeks to heal correctly.
Then I'm back at it!

What's the turnout like? Also is anyone going to Wings and Wheels in Walterboro this saturday?

Trying to go to car shows sucks when I only have one weekend off a month!

Re: South Carolina, Charleston Area?

So....I finally took mine out last night for bits official test drive.
Didn't go as bad as a I feared nor as good as I hoped, but def getting closer.

Its a shame we don't really have a 3rd place to go to.
Hawks is too far of a tow and I don't really want to get laughter at.
Jaminsons would be an option as I know they are big Yvette guys but really having had a chance to get by....

Maybe today

Awe, man...you got me over here trying to get car to fly....lol....I still may, got tomorrow off for fitz and tantrums, so hopefully.

Fired up on its own last night and ran...but didn't like all the lights on...so I'll try again today when I get in (let it cool down and traffic die out a bit).

Re: South Carolina, Charleston Area?

Hey does anybody in the area have any projects going on with their cars? I could use a mentor.
I got my 92 camaro as a project car and as it turns out, I have no idea what I'm doing. I'll provide an extra set of hands for you and your project in exchange for teaching me a thing or two.

Any takers?
