Im moving out to Lv sometime in the near future, dont know exactly when. But if you get a Club together in Vegas Im in. Hopefully you all will be rolling an have the club together before I get there. Even if it's a Gm club an not just based on thirdgens.
Im going to need one hell of a radiator out there an a working Ac in the Iroc. Let's roll Vegas!

Re: Las Vegas!!!!
Ya I been there many times in the Summer so I should be able to adapt to it. Southern California is so large, I just need to adapt to the smaller size of Vegas vs Soutern Ca L.A Orange County. It's a big life change for me an my wife so were hoping we enjoy it an buy a house. A change from a good size home to a little smaller home. What I have noticed there is a lot of happy people there.

every Saturday morning there is a cars and coffee meet at 9500 S. Eastern ave. I get there around 8:30 when I go but cars are usually there until 10-10:30. I have a Blue 1990 IROC and a 2010 Blue GS Corvette if you ever decide to go let me know.

Re: Las Vegas!!!!
I'll be moving to las Vegas in the next month or so. We should start planning get togethers. I'm assuming weekends might work best for everyone? We can find a Sonics, in and out burger, or somewhere else cool and call ahead to see about making parking reservations.also I was wondering since I'm gonna be new to the area if anyone has an emission inspection hook up? Also a mechanic and exhaust shop recommendations?

Las Vegas is my Home town. (Henderson) anyway.. but ya say Henderson and every body go's..what?
back in the days of fremont street being a 2 way street... then a 1 way.. now not at all...lol street racing at the end of spring MT road. or out by silver bowl stadium... or lake mead drive...then $2 stake dinners and the Califonia club. @1 am.. (1980/88)
$5 race or watch at the drag strip. out past the AF Base...Good times!

Re: Las Vegas!!!!
As I'm back to owning a 3rd gen (1982 Trans Am), would like to know if there is a Vegas club or if you guys have meets. I know Vegas is not a big city, but, there should be enough of us here that we can get together.

I'd love to get some meet ups going. Just got my car running again, I have a friend with a 90 firebird that would be down to. Maybe we can get some kind of group message going to get things going

I have most of what I need to finish mine, but I have just been sitting on my hands for a while haha. I have a 383 LT1 that I need to finish building, then put into the car. Unfortunately I was in a motorcycle accident recently and haven't been able to work on cars much.

I would be willing to start coordinating this, if people are interested. My current job leaves me with plenty of time to manage stuff like this.

Oh also, I don't know if anyone on here is interested, but I am a co-director of the hackerspace here in vegas, Syn Shop. We don't have many tools pretaining to automotive work (yet), but we do have 3d printer, laser cutters, and cnc wood mills that I have access to using, if anyone is interested.

Re: Las Vegas!!!!
I'm South of Las Vegas by an hour, I have weekdays off and work the "weekend shift." I wouldn't mind coming up for an event Monday-Thursday or for an F-body car show on the weekend if the participation rate was at least a guaranteed 20 or so. I think an F-body car show is doable if it's done the way they have done Thirdgen fest where it has it's own thread and is planned out at least six months in advance with vendors of some type there be they food or parts or music. From what I've found living here the past 7 months is that Vegas seems to be short on advertised Joe Shmoe car events.
