Well that does not define it now does it. Well one thing I won't do is haggle. The prices I'll have will pretty much be the best price I have to offer.

Well I said that I wasn't going to explain what I was going to build but I must since I'm making such approach not to build it. It was going to be an afr 219/219 hogged honed base, eagle crank an rods 396ci. So I'm not doing that because a much better option

When you do post the parts list, can you make it more readable? I had trouble reading/understanding some of this. The following is how I would try to organize it:
1. Built 700r4
-2800 stall Toys converter
-Trans go shift kit
-10 vane pump
-Pics available
$1,150, willing to ship at buyers expense.
2. Speed Density Super Ram, Chromed and ported
-Two 1000 cfm Lingenfelter throttle body's with new Delphi Iac
-Chromed Tuned port throttle body plate
-30 lb Svt Injectors
-Paxton adjustable fuel pressure regulator

$1,845 plus shipping
3. 1 3/4 Hi rise Vette egr headers
-Jet coated
-dual sensor for heated an wide band
-with Dual cats Y pipe
$775.00 plus shipping
4. Hitachi Racing Starter $145.00 plus shipping
It might help sell stuff and reduce the number of questions.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
This post was just supposed to be another to Join the Lsx an since I thought So Ca people would see it might be looking for some parts. And I'll have everything that is like good stuff well it's good I have Gm Alt to fuel pump that are all good parts an pretty low use. If you have a working rear hatch pull down it tell's a lot that you bought good things for your car.
I just have no other choice I thought Id stay Tpi but the new route just is so much better. I have said what I like about Tpi an I have told the truth in regards with Lsx. Of course Im just learning and Im no Lsx pro, over the year I will be researching an most of it will be NewGmParts.com That site should be more then well enough to get me legal with the swap an have most everything new.
Now I know I said that I was not going to explain the "new combo" well that was with that plan. I have this plan an conversion now. It took being told we could get it passed the Reff.
So what have I done..Well first the 383ci an everything with that is off the car, short block is there with it's news as what we see, trans is still in an not to bad so far.
The next step was Gene telling me about Lsx an of course it sold itself.
So from asking me whats the future of the car it was pretty quick on what was really going to make this car rock an see a future.
This is going to be an order after order of buying parts as much as I can, Because this is not going to be a Lsx swap from a donor car an certainly not a ls1.
First part will be purchasing the all new
LS3/L92 6.2L Bare Block
Direct replacement for 2007-08 L92, 2008-12 LS3, 2009-12 L9H and 2010-12 L94/L99
Production aluminum block with iron sleeves
4.065" finished bore (103.25mm)
This block is 1,458.00 That's the starting point an I could have easily spent this for the older generation but with that build I had a building cost of 3,200.
So this may sound easy but Im aware of the road blocks an I have not even got to them yet because I'll be one of the very few right now to put a Ls3 418ci into there thirdgen. And no I can't take the dare to do the 427ci.. The fuel savings alone over the next 5 years will pay for the odds an ends of new purchases for parts esp. all the emissions.
Next is the wiring an that stage. I could order ls3 heads an intakes an all those parts right now but those are not my concern. Was advised that's all at the end of the build with Lsx.

The cost for hone an port for this set up runs 750.00. Just got the base manifold today from Slic an it looks hogged out just like you would want.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
you will never be able to get a ls3 to pass smog without using the 6l80e trans which wont fit so you must go a stock year 6 speed manual. I also doubt you would be able to use the stock 5th gen tank not to mention the limited space for the 2 cats Sounds like a minimum $10,000 build and you wont go much faster then a built ls1 or 6.0.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
There is two tanks for the ls3. Maybe the rear exhaust needs to be something other than a 3" cat back flow master. Theres gotta be a way to make it work an maybe that's it. The cats I think Im going to make a visit to Gene's Exhaust shop he uses an asks some questions.
Going the 427ci with ported heads an cam can make a lot of power. Were doing something Sic for the Crank..

again everything has to be from that year donor vehicle no mix match and has to be a stock type cat... I honestly don't see a ref able ls3 engine possible.

must be swapped and in the same location as the year of the vehicle it came from
which means after 2004 all ls engines were drive by wire which means you have to be drive by wire no mix matching.

There is someone in San Diego planning a Ls3 swap.. The cost is high but I could spend that much on a pos car..

Re: Another to join the Lsx
The swap is 8991.00 most everything brand new all the emission you would ever need.
From custom Ls3 F body harness, the DBW an pedals, Ready to run brand new 427ci,W/ mild cam.
Only thing that's not included is the fuel tank cost if needed. I think they can fit with going with Borla or Slp. I know I said running but that's nearly not yet complete so yes the swap comes in at 10k with the exhaust. and the rest is labor. There 50 State compliant so there passing the smog. And there is some special features in the ecu software that can do a lot of things I only heard a few but it's really interesting.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
I see at least 5 things that wont pass smog in that video... That Erod kit is only able to pass smog if nothing needs to be modified and lots of things will... the stock manifolds will not fit for instance... right there you fail...

Rock you gotta research better.. The info is there. There is someone in Fresno that has done the swap intended to pass Bar.. It's either a K member or it's 2010 manifolds. The exhaust.. Well looks like it fits perfect with the 6 speed. It tucks real close. So if the e rod is for 6 speed trans calibration is bc the auto probably doesnt work or fit. Everything doesnt have to be perfect small tweaks are ok.

I challenge you to find where I ever said that. I'm completely ambivalent about what engine you're planning on putting in that car. Which ever way you go it's not going to see the road for at least five years anyway.
Please sell the thirdgen the way it is and buy a fourth or fifth gen. Then you can take your million questions, requests for parts lists, incoherent rants about people doing you wrong, multiple follow up incoherent posts, plugs for Gene and posts about how you run corporations and are too busy over to LS1tech or Camaro5 and let them bask in your greatness.

It's really stupid to repeat this on every post of mine..
What makes you think I need a parts list from any of you. I have the parts list. Not that hard to find. So stop being lame an stop coming here to just repeat your broken record speeches.

Why do you insist repeating what I an my family does? Or what we have or what we do?

As for repeating what you an your family does or has, it's only information you shared with the world. If you didn't want people to know then you shouldn't have put it out there.

Im not calling you out about that like you mentioned. More less go look for your self. Why do you think the sentence said some say do it some say prove it.. Well that's for you who else Am I talking to? And please don't bother me about racing your classic cars.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
In typical Branden fashion you resort to insults and name calling, that's what's really pathetic. If I said it then quote it..locked thread or not. What sucks is you...your insults, your name calling, your attitude, your grammar, your spelling and your lies. If you can't take people reading and commenting and calling you on your statements then go somewhere else.

Im already a step ahead of knowing what exactly what you would say. Your taking up my time so Im done with you. Just going to put you on ignore an that's it. Your so much on this miss spelling. How do you think that is happening? The friggin site spells checks itself. Go read something else.

Sure you are Nostradamus
That and your posts are rambling and incoherent most of the time. The site spelling itself is the most ridiculous thing I've heard. Then how do you explain most everyone else's posts having correct spelling a majority of the time? It must be a conspiracy to make you look bad I guess.
YES that's what we've all been saying to you for years!

Lmao.. Ya go play somewhere else because I blew them all away in 96.. Most of you must just got you some cars.. Never have seen you on this board other than the last two years.
Oh Blab all you want about spelling. Id have to call you the same name again but I wont. Ok lemme see any bad spelling here on my end. No nothing.. I see something I use two periods in places. Now that's something real.
Ya but seriously. This was an area just to say I was Going Lsx over any other option. Rock thought it wasnt possible or has not been done in Ca.. But it has.. So it went from going to Lsx to a parts list an that's all it is. Parts that I dont even care if they sell or not.

Ya but seriously. This was an area just to say I was Going Lsx over any other option. Rock thought it wasnt possible or has not been done in Ca.. But it has.. So it went from going to Lsx to a parts list an that's all it is. Parts that I dont even care if they sell or not.

I dont have a clue when CaliBrandens join date is. But I been here since 2000. I have helped many people over the years. Because I had the time to do so. I can't be much help now because I'm busy with many things. Why is character so important to you? Who am I chasing away? Sure would like to know. I deleted my comment because you make a big deal about the smallest things.
As for Lsx an a Ls3 actually there isn't to many on this board because of the cost. So when I mentioned that statement I didn't find what I was looking for yet. Of course people research what there doing. I'm doing the same thing. I'm appreciative that the info is there an I have already written someone with the info I needed.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
Of course it's a good thing that people are able to do this swap in there garage or drive way. I'm sure they spent 100's of hours researching an learning. For me it's just a start. No matter how much time I spent learning, I could no way do this myself. I'm very aware that a lot of people here are bright an smart. An cars are a big part of there life now. For me it's not so much that because I dont have the time. Some say Lsx has to gain respect an with a attitude such of that, my it seems like it's, Unappreciative of the swap.

Re: Another to join the Lsx
Looks like the best route is a Spohn K member coil over kit for the Ls3 427 swap. I guess doing it right an be patient instead of cutting k member is the better way to go for Auto Cross..

lol looks like you have alot more research to do because coil overs are absolutely not the right way to go on these cars for autocross. They would be if you had an upper control arm, but we don't.

Oh I'm not concerned the least little bit, it's your money to waste. Just goes to show your level of research though.
Why don't you save the cost and trouble and sell it now and move on to something else with more technology.
I think the route I'm going is near the same cost, but I'll have a lot more hp, the numbers will be better. This is going to take time because it's not a average ls1 swap.. We're looking at numbers at 650hp.. A lot better internals. And if it doesn't pass Bar or anything I'll just sell it else where an purchase something else with more technology.

Don't worry about that... See the car to me isn't an old style classic that is worthless so you sell it as a roller.. My car is to far in good condition then to do that. Stop bothering with it.. All you are with a few you cant you cant.. Ever heard yes I can..
