Good local dyno tune shop?

Thinking of biting the bullet and finally getting the Camaro up on a dyno to see where I'm really at and do some dyno tuning. I'm in the Glendale/Burbank area... any good local shops?

Re: Good local dyno tune shop?

Try to get in on one of the TGO / SoCal TPI dyno days with Kevin 91Z & Dyno Don. Look for info in THIS forum. They will hook you up.

Re: Good local dyno tune shop?

I'm really curious to see where I stand.... I've got this thing dialed in about as far as I can go with it on seat-of-the-pants feel.

Re: Good local dyno tune shop?

I have found datalogging on 1/4 or 1/8 miles runs works better for tuning than a dyno. If you are waaaaay off, a dyno is the safest bet, but to squeeze out a few more HP your MPH is very useful.

We need 5 or 6 cars to set up a day.

I think Julie is ready, and Corvette Troy. UltimatZ and SixSeries make 4, so we need 1 or 2 more.

Re: Good local dyno tune shop?

The sooner the better. Before I do something stupid and break something.

My brother will be in town on the weekend of the 13th.
I think he would like to watch a dyno session, and also meet some of the people I've been hanging out with.

I have an alternating schedule, the only weekend that works for me is the 20th.

If it hasn't change its $85.00 an hour. There may be an additional cost if Kevin tunes your car.
