Re: Happy Birthday Dyno Don!

I haven't been here in a while. This is way too late, but hope you had a happy b'day Don.

I've seen ads on tv for arthroscopic back surgery. It is minimally invasive, and I am wondering if it would work for you. Having seen the amount of pain involved and the long recovery time for friends who have had back surgery, I hope the arthroscopic type would work for you. It sounds like a lot less problems. They say it is an in and out in one day.

Re: Happy Birthday Dyno Don!

Yes, that was what I was thinking of. The folks I know who have had conventional back surgery did not do very well.

The orthopedic doc wwho did my knee said he wanted to be a back surgeon until he talked with a back surgeon who told him that become a back surgeon if you want 50% of your patients to think you are incompetent!

Re: Happy Birthday Dyno Don!

Happy belated Birthday, Don! If you have surgery, make sure the surgeon the same procedure routinely and say NO resident surgeons!
