lugnuts keep loosening
Has anyone ever had this problem? I know the car isn't being tampered with either, It started after I put these N-24 wheels on the car and I'm using 84up style lugnuts. I had N-98 wheels on the car and never had this problem and I torque the lugnuts down between 85&90FT LBS
I've tried retorquing the lugnuts after a 10 mile drive and they still do it. Could it be the metal spacer plates I'm using? my lugnuts seat perfectly in the rims ..... or was there a thread difference between 82's and 84's? ... Or were the lugnuts changed from rim to rim? .... I generally seem to have to re-tighten them 1-2 times a week & it is getting aggravating to say the least

Re: lugnuts keep loosening
whatever the stock studs are on a 82 and I'm using 1984 lugnuts. They seem to thread on fine

I am curious if maybe the taper ona N-24 wheel is different and causing this. or possibly just these spacers are the cause. these spacers are like 1/16th inch steel and I'm wondering if different heat expansions rates between these and the aluminum rims could be the cause too.
