Washer for Ball Joint rubber boot

Washer for Ball Joint rubber boot
Replacing the ball joints. Noticed the new ball joint kit I have doesn't have these washers that were on top of the rubber boot. These washers look like pure hell, they are really beat up or worn out.
Do I need these washers? Can I get them separately or do I need to get some different ball joint kits?
Also, are polyurethane ball joint boots worth getting?

Use Moog Problem Solver ball joint. Has a better boot that channels grease away form brakes when installed correctly. Also stronger than stock.

who sells the moog problem solver ball joint? About how much does it run? I picked up some $10 ball joints from o'reillys but am considering taking them back, the ones I have come with a lifetime guaranntee but I really don't want to replace these again soon.

O'Reillys, Autozone, any good auto parts store or maybe Rockauto.com on the net. Cost about $22.00-25.00 each. Much better than those cheap $10.00 ones and will last much longer. Take the one's you bought and compare them to Moog. See the difference.
